About Us
John M. Nolte founded the company in 1987 as a sole proprietor. He performed area service work, re-builds, new instruments and additions. He also specialized in wood pipe making, which became his main focus for several years.
John’s son Benjamin became a partner in the business in June of 2000 and Nolte Organ Building & Supply, Inc. was born. They quickly grew to hiring an employee, which in turn required more space. Nolte Organ Building expanded to a well-equipped shop with over 5600 sq ft of work-space. John’s son Jeremiah joined the Nolte Organ Building crew in the fall of 2001. John Miller regularly worked in partnership with the crew before completing his apprenticeship in Germany, and has resumed the relationship since his return. Nolte Organ Building has partnered with many experts in the industry in order to achieve the highest quality solutions. They also regularly partner with their customers. They provide enjoyable opportunities working with their customers to use their talents to do some of the work on their own instruments. This labor provides an unbelievable sense of ownership, the work is guaranteed and covered under their warranty, and it reduces the cost of projects while maintaining or even adding to the value the achieved vision.
The Nolte Organ Building crew uses their creative abilities to find the highest quality solutions for achieving their client’s custom vision. From the mundane service call to the complexities of a complete instrument, Nolte Organ Building values their customer’s unique stewardship decisions.
